Where is The Alley Penang?
The Alley is at 5 Stewart Lane, 10200 George Town, Penang. A 2-minute walk from the Goddess of Mercy Temple, in the UNESCO heritage core.

What are your opening hours?
Open daily 10am–6pm. Closed every first Wednesday of the month.

What is The Alley known for?
Specialty coffee and our signature hand-piped churros. We've brewed in George Town since 2013. Our coffee is roasted by our sister brand, Nine Lives Coffee Roasters.

What's your signature drink?
The Dirty Latte : a double shot poured over our house-distilled milk. A contrasting, addictive cup of creamy texture. No sugar or artificial flavour added. 

Do you have dessert?
Yes. Signature churros, Supreme Burnt Cheesecake, Key Lime Pie, Devil's Chocolate Cake, and more, all homemade from scratch.

Is it cash only? 
We take cash, e-wallet and credit card payments. 


Is The Alley halal? Do you serve pork?
We're strictly pork-free here. 


Is The Alley pet-friendly?
Pets are allowed in our alfresco area. 


Can I buy coffee beans to take home?
Yes. Coffee beans are available on retail, roasted by Nine Lives Coffee Roasters.


Are you the bubble tea chain "The Alley" (鹿角巷)?
No. We're an independent specialty coffee cafe in George Town, Penang, est. 2013. We're not affiliated with the Taiwanese bubble tea brand. We serve specialty coffee, churros, and homemade desserts at 5 Stewart Lane.
